Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
Hi, I'm Alicia, and I offer individual therapy for adults and teens (ages 16 and up).
I see therapy as a collaborative space where we can explore and develop practical skills that you can apply in your everyday life. I believe that lasting change happens gradually—through small, intentional choices that add up over time. In our sessions, we’ll work together to uncover the root causes of present-day patterns and explore how past experiences may be influencing your current thoughts, sensations, behaviors, and relationships. Each conversation we have is an important part of the ongoing process, where we work together to create meaningful shifts in your life.
I view the therapeutic relationship itself as a powerful tool for growth. My personal experiences as a client in therapy have been transformative. I am committed to offering that same support to you as we work together toward your goals.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Washington, where I graduated in 2019, and have been working in the social services field since 2011. My experience includes providing individual and group therapy in community behavioral health settings, as well as offering support to survivors of sexual violence, serving as a legal intake counselor at the ACLU of Washington, and working as a case manager and medical advocate at a retirement community.
Building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation of our work together. If you think we might be a good fit, or if you have any questions, please reach out to schedule a free consultation. I’d be happy to discuss how we can begin this important journey together.
