Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Alicia, and I provide individual therapy for adults and teens age 16 and over.
I view therapy as a place to workshop skills and strategies that you might use in your life outside of our sessions. I believe that change happens incrementally, and that small, daily choices can make a big difference in people’s lives. I see therapy as an ongoing practice in which each conversation we have is a part of the larger fabric of the work we are doing together.
I see the therapeutic relationship as a place for potential growth in and of itself. I have had many years of experience as a client, and therapy has had a tremendous impact on my life. It has made a big difference to feel that someone is unconditionally there for me, and I hope to help others feel the same.
I received my Master’s degree from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2019, and have been working in the field of social services since 2011. I have three years of experience providing individual and group psychotherapy in a community behavioral health setting. I have served as a support person for survivors of sexualized violence, a legal intake counselor at the ACLU of Washington, and a case manager and medical advocate for a retirement community.
I believe that cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship is an essential starting point. If you think we might be a good fit, and have questions or would like more information, please contact me to discuss setting up a free consultation.
